HI, I'M MIKE HARVEY. THANKS SO MUCH FOR CHECKING OUT MY SUPER SWEET WEBSITE! IF YOU'D LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT ME, AWESOME! HANG ON A SEC; LET ME GO GET MY SOAP BOX. #whereismysoapbox #ohthereitis
I was born into creativity; into a family-owned sign business started by my grandfather in 1936. Since child labor laws don't really cover nepotism, my father made certain that, at even a tender age, I had the opportunity to wear many hats. Marketing always seemed to fit the most bestest. (It's not a real word, but it should be.)
Since college, I've been a graphic designer, videographer, photographer, website developer, project manager, sales trainer, marketing manager, and creative consultant. In 2009, I started street-walking my mixed media services, and have loved every minute.
Helping people grow their business has introduced me to gaggles of new and exciting experiences. I feel so blessed and fulfilled when someone succeeds with something I helped create. It's like a mocha java chip frappuccino drizzled in fudge. Ooh...with a heavy slice of warm pumpkin bread!
Although not every project is a blank canvas, I love crafting something from nothing. Some of my favorite projects have included creating full marketing strategies and rollout plans. I enjoy crafting proposals, storyboards, videos, photos, websites, email campaigns, infographics, print collateral, and signage. Yeah, I really love what I do, and do what I love.
There is nothing that I duck and run from. Every obstacle has a solution. Within every challenge is a lesson worth learning. Where others stop at “can’t”, I accelerate with, “How can we make this happen?” and, “What do we need to get this done?”
My glass is more than half-full; if not annoyingly brimming. It is this attitude that has driven me to continually learn. It's this way of thinking that focusses on growth and development.
Hiring a third party resource is a worderful way to increase your teams capabilities without adding the overhead of another employee. You still reach your project goals, and everyone in your office gets to focus on what they do best.
My contribution varies from project to project. Sometimes, I find myself firing photon torpedoes from the Captain's chair; at other times I'm shoulder-to-shoulder with Scotty in Engineering fixing warp cores.
Having facilitated many large projects over the past 20 years, I've learned the importance of being able to choreograph the talents of in-house departments with the services of outside vendors. Team collaboration is the key to all great creativity.
People choose to work with those whom they know, like and trust. They go where they feel welcome. They buy from the people they feel connected to; either in person or online. Below is a list of things that every good company needs to be great. Oh, and guess what! I would love the opportunity to help you create all this stuff.
The best way to engage your audience is through video. It gives your brand a face, and allows your guests to feel as though they know you. So share! Take them on a quick hands-on tour of what they can expect when they meet you. The more you share with them, the more they’ll feel connected to you and your unique brand.
Social media is the most cost-effective way to reach your clients or prospects. However, daily spam solicits everyone’s feed. To stand out you need a smart message, a calculated drip, and an eye-catching design that compliments your brand. A strategic approach will improve your conversion rate, and add to the success of every campaign.
High-resolution photos are the sizzle that sells your steak. So show off your beautiful office or showroom. Use quality images to help launch your cool new products. Add a professional headshot to the online bios of your team members. Remember, when you pull back the curtain, people can’t help but peek inside.
A successful marketing plan requires a collection of brand compliant media to support the sale of your products or services. You first need a well laid plan to help increase brand awareness. To be even more memorable in the eyes of your audience, we’ll create a cohesive rollout that meets your needs and exceeds your clients expectations.
Excellent websites are more than just online brochures. They are mobile-ready, easy to navigate, and captivating in both look and feel. Using a custom case study of your industry’s top performers, I’ll identify the aesthetic elements and functional components you need to stand out. Your finished site will be polished and peerless.
A business without a sign is a sign of no business. I believe a sign is a reflection of your brand. It’s a powerful symbol that represents who you are and how you want the world to see you. It’s your 24 hour sales person, ever at the ready to let your customers know that you are there for them. After all, a business with a great sign is a sign of a great business.
